Blood Drives in Savannah, GA & Reidsville, NC

Prudent Growth Cares was happy to sponsor two more Community Blood Drives with The Blood Connection. We provided advertising & PR for the events, as well as free coffee and donuts for the donors.

On Friday, June 16, we hosted another Blood Drive at our Savannah Crossing property. According to Seth DaSilva with TBC, we had 7 donors (4 first-time donors) & saved up 15 lives with the donations we received!

Thursday, June 22, we hosted our first Community Blood Drive at Ashcroft Commons. We were especially grateful for the support from the Prudent Growth team members, as well as employees & businesses at Ashcroft Commons. We had 6 first-time donors at this event and look forward to increasing participation as we continue to sponsor drives in Reidsville, which is a brand new market for The Blood Connection.

We were also pleased to be joined in Reidsville by Tekia Cleveland, with PACE of the Triad. PACE of the Triad is a non-profit organization that provides medical care and support services to Guilford and Rockingham county residents, 55 and older. Support includes medical transportation, in-home personal care, caregiver respite and a social day center with activities, exercise and lunch for enrolled participants.
