Prudent Profile: Mary Liz Elliott

Mary Liz Elliot joined Prudent Growth as an intern in the spring of 2024, when she was a Senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating from UNC, she was hired as a Communications Associate in August of that year.

She graduated from UNC with a double major in Communication Studies and Human & Organizational Leadership Development with a minor in Advertising & Public Relations. During her summers as a student, she worked as a counselor and unit coordinator at Kanakuk Camps in Branson, Missouri.

In the fall of 2023, she studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and enjoyed traveling the country, taking cooking classes, and learning Italian culture. In the summer of 2024, she lived in Kikuyu, Kenya, and worked to further education initiatives through a local school. She also enjoyed safaris and exploring the African countryside.

Mary Liz grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, and in her free time, she likes to spend time with family and friends, travel, and exercise. She is also very involved in her church, Christ Central of Durham, where she volunteers with the youth group and sings in the choir.
